I love making fabric flowers at home. I am using Vera Bradley Fabric to make the flower. I love Vera Bradley fabric so much, as well as its other items, such as Vera Bradley handbags, purses, and others. I am really a big fan of Vera Bradley.
Now, I am going to tell you step by step guide on how to make flower fabrics with Vera Bradley Fabric .
Step 1: Get a list of things needed.
You will need Vera Bradley Fabric , paper, needle, scissors, pencil, tape measurement and threat. Get this thing handy before you start. Go and get one if you do not have it. You can replace scissors with pen knife if you do not have one, and pencil with chalk.
Step 2: Start Making the Flower Fabrics
Cut out 3 circles, with 4 inches, 3.5 inches and 3 inches each on the paper. Then, fall each circle and make it into quarter, cut the triangle into heart shape, open each pieces of paper. Trace each paper on your fabric; you need 1 large circle, 2 medium circle and 4 small circle for each flower, cut it out accordingly. Cut quarter inch slit on the fabric in between every circle fabric.
Place the medium circle of fabric on top now, twist each of the piece of the circle and make sure it do not line up. Take four small circle fabrics and fall it into half,. Take the four halves and put them together in pinwheel. Place it on top of other fabric circle. Thread your needle, and tie the knot on the end on your thread. Sew the fabric flower you just make together from back to the stack of fabric circle. Repeat this from the back to front until stitches stick together firmly, tie the knot on the end.
Step 3: Finishing Design
You can use these flower fabrics as a decoration of your jacket, clothes, hair pin, purse, or anything you like, you can even make it into flower pin, buy the flower decoration and others and display it at home!
